In the year 1962 Sister Amata, the then principal of St. Joseph E. T. High school, Bulsar, sent two sisters namely Sister Sacrario and Sister Juliette to Bilimora daily to conduct the K.G and Std 1st in a rented room at Mahadevnagar.

1963 – 1972
In the year 1963 four rooms were available on Mahatma Gandhi Road making it possible to hold classes from K.G to Std 3rd . In the year 1966 two more teachers were appointed to serve this institution. The school was managed by Sister Sacrario and Sister Juliette . Later a plot measuring 154460 sq.ft was purchased by the then Provincial Rev. Mother Fausta . There was a gradual increase in the number of students from initially 60 to 250 by the year 1967. Shri Gokuldas Intwala and Shri Balubhai Modi collected loans without interest from the parents and well wishers for the construction of the school building. The school building was inaugurated and first ever Parent’s Day was organized .
In September 1966 a wing along with 12 classrooms was constructed and it was utilized to house the Primary Section, which got recognition from the government in the same year .In the year 1967, Sister Gertrude joined as Superior and Sister Louisa joined as the Principal of this institution along with two more sisters. The school catered children from all communities. Students from surrounding villages were also enrolled in this institution. 1972 – 82
In 1972, the Secondary Section was recognized by the Gujarat Secondary & Higher Secondary Education Board and first batch of 20 students appeared for SSC securing 75% result. In 1974 the result increased to 94%. In the same year a cultural programme was organized on a large scale. (Late Sr. Maria Da Graca, Sr. Matilda, Sr. Theresa Augustine)

1982 – 88
In 1982 a new wing was constructed to accommodate the increasing number of students . A grant was sanctioned from the Gujarat Secondary Education Board for the secondary section with effect from the year 1988. In 1987 the Parent’s Association was formed to build better infrastructure and facilities for the students and to start Higher Secondary Section. (Sr. Theresa Augustine,

1989 – 1999
The Higher Secondary Section , the Principal’s Office, New staff Room and Computer Laboratory was completed in 1998. These developments took place to improve the infrastructure.

2000 – 2005
A multi purpose Hall, well equipped Principal’s Office , Kinder Garden , Libania Play School, Audio-Visual Room, a well imposing Gate at the entrance and Basketball Court were constructed during the tenure of Sister Victoria Gonsalves as the Principal. It was a necessary addition and expansion during that time.

2006 onwards …
Sister Delphine almeida who joined this institution as a teacher , took over as Principal in the year 2006. She made a lot of changes in the infrastructure as well as other amenities to facilitate better teaching learning experience for the teacher and the taught. During Sister Delphine’s tenure a motorable road, good compound wall, a Grotto of Mother Mary, statue of St. Joseph, a beautiful garden, attractive and well equipped K.G classes with LCD and a DVD player , water purification system for clean and pure drinking water for the entire school, better wash room facility and well equipped laboratories were updated or renovated as it was the need of the hour.

  • HSC Commerce 1995 to 2010 659 students have passéd out
  • HSC Science 1996 to 2010 540 students have passed out.
